Accounts Payable Team Leader - French Speaker

About the role

Join a multinational automotive organization that is establishing a new Regional Shared Service Centre. As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will manage a dedicated AP team, ensuring high‑quality service, efficient invoice processing, and continuous improvement within a fast‑moving, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support an AP team, maintaining service quality and performance.
• Oversee end‑to‑end AP processes: invoice capture, payment execution, supplier reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Monitor payment deadlines, outstanding balances, and KPIs to meet service‑level agreements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for supplier and stakeholder queries.
• Prepare operational reports, performance analyses, and management information.
• Drive process optimisation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders to streamline processes.
• Support month‑end close, audits, and governance reporting.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Travel internationally when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of AP or finance operations experience, including team leadership.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and supplier management.
• Experience in a Shared Services Centre or international finance environment is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving, multicultural setting.
