Account Representative

About the role

The Account Representative will work at Island Finance's Rio Piedras branch, promoting and selling a range of consumer loan and financial products. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, guiding clients through product options, and helping the company retain existing customers while acquiring new ones.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and promote Island Finance’s financial products to individuals and businesses.
• Provide product guidance and personalized service to meet client needs.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Handle a high volume of client interactions efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of university education or a related technical program.
• At least two years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Strong public‑facing and service‑orientation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Organized, able to set priorities and work under pressure.
• Team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
