Telecom Core Engineering Academy – Graduate Training

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is launching a Telecom Core Engineering Academy to develop fresh talent in telecom core networks. The program offers a hands‑on learning experience across packet core, signaling, network access, security, cloud infrastructure and more, preparing participants for a career in telecom engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a 2‑month intensive training covering core telecom domains such as PACO, SSP, Core E2E testing, C&M and IPTEL.
• Work on real‑world projects for internal and client‑facing telecom solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and solution architects to solve technical challenges.
• Earn certifications in telecom systems, cloud platforms and security frameworks.

Required profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree (by October 2025) in a STEM discipline (Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Understanding of telecom network protocols such as SIP, Diameter, SS7, GTP and HTTP/2.
• Familiarity with telecom system architectures (IMS, EPC, 5GC, OSS/BSS).
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Programming knowledge in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages.
