Tax & Accounting Associate

About the role

PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is expanding its Tax and Accounting department and seeks a motivated Tax & Accounting Associate to join a dynamic, international team. You will work on a portfolio of multinational clients, providing high‑quality accounting and tax services while developing your professional expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage accounting and tax matters for a diverse portfolio of international clients.
• Advise clients on compliance requirements and prepare tax returns, annual accounts, consolidations and due‑diligence reports.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, strengthening relationships and supporting business development.
• Collaborate with the Accountancy and Tax Compliance Department and other internal teams to design and implement tailored client solutions.
• Handle operating and holding companies across various sectors, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
• Participate in a customized training and support program to accelerate your professional growth.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or graduate with a Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Management (specialising in accounting or taxation).
• Strong motivation for tax and accounting work and ability to integrate quickly into a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, discipline and intellectual curiosity.
• Flexibility and independence to adapt to changing work patterns.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
