Strategic Procurement Internship

About the role

Join Emma’s global Strategic Procurement team as an intern and gain hands‑on experience in sourcing, supplier management and cost‑optimization across a worldwide network. You will work closely with buying managers and cross‑functional teams to support negotiations and drive value‑adding initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support negotiations with business partners alongside buying managers.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and new product implementations.
• Research and onboard new suppliers in multiple regions while improving internal processes.
• Analyse supplier cost drivers, market trends and ensure competitive pricing.
• Assist with supply‑chain risk assessments, vendor development and product‑lifecycle decisions.
• Design, build and maintain decision‑support dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
• Leverage AI tools to automate routine procurement tasks.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Available for a minimum six‑month internship.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Analytical, organized, independent and eager to challenge the status‑quo.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Previous exposure to procurement, planning or supply‑chain management is a plus.
