SRE / Application Support Engineer

About the role

KCS IT is seeking an experienced SRE / Application Support Engineer to join our hybrid team in Porto. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of critical applications running on Linux, OpenShift and Red Hat environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot and support mission‑critical applications.
• Lead incident resolution and manage change requests.
• Handle backup, certificate management and vulnerability tracking.
• Plan capacity, execute deployments and collaborate closely with DevOps teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Linux‑based SRE or application support roles.
• Strong expertise with OpenShift, Red Hat and cloud platforms.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
