Specialist Global Product Supply – Buying (1‑year temporary)

About the role

The Specialist Global Product Supply – Buying supports the end‑to‑end buying process for adidas products. Working on a one‑year fixed‑term contract, you will ensure accurate preparation, validation and conversion of purchase‑related data while collaborating with planning and allocation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute buying processes including pre‑buy preparation, IPP Lite buy management, manual buy execution and allocation validation.
• Maintain data quality by cleansing purchase requisitions, uploading forecasts and converting PRs to POs.
• Perform post‑buy checks, resolve PO issues and monitor service‑level agreements.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy.
• Collaborate with planning, product‑supply and allocation teams as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
• Prepare regular reports on buying activity, allocation summaries and PO outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, logistics, business administration or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 1‑3 years of experience in supply‑chain, operations or planning, preferably in accessories, apparel or footwear.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and service‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Ability to learn internal supply‑chain planning and execution software.
