Solution Architect – SAP (Energy Sector)

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a Solution Architect specialized in SAP to drive transformation initiatives within the Energy sector. You will define and evolve SAP governance, promote best‑practice frameworks and support the adoption of modern SAP technologies across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and evolve SAP team guidelines, including Clean Core strategies, DevSecOps lifecycle and security/compliance requirements.
• Implement governance models for RISE with SAP and coordinate with architecture, security and vendors.
• Promote adoption of SAP Activate, Best Practices and Reference Architectures.
• Collaborate with business areas to design optimal SAP solutions that deliver value, cost efficiency and technical sustainability.
• Support solution and integration architecture design aligned with corporate architecture and security directives.
• Accelerate SAP landscape transformation: S/4HANA, RISE, SAP BTP adoption, application modernization and innovation (SAP Business AI, Joule, side‑by‑side scenarios).
• Evaluate SAP and partner solutions for technical fit, maturity and business value.
• Support SAP licensing analysis, management and optimization.
• Enable and up‑skill SAP teams, promoting standards, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven track record in large‑scale SAP environments and hands‑on experience with S/4HANA, RISE and modernization projects.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, autonomy and results‑oriented mindset in complex environments.
• Fluent English.
• SAP certifications and experience in large or multinational organisations; prior governance or competence‑center roles are a plus.
