Software Quality Assurance Lead (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

Sysmatch is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Lead to join a prestigious international client on a hybrid basis in Lisbon. You will drive the testing strategy, lead a large QA team and ensure the continuous improvement of the client’s quality framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ QA professionals on critical projects.
• Design the overall test strategy and master test plan.
• Oversee compliance, risk mitigation and quality assurance processes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
• Continuously improve the client’s QA framework and testing practices.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong background in technical leadership and stakeholder management.
• ISTQB Advanced certification is expected.
• Good command of English (B2/C1 level).
