SOC Analyst L1 – Night Shift (On-site)

About the role

Inetum is seeking a Level 1 Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join its Lisbon security team on a night‑shift schedule. The analyst will work on‑site, monitoring the environment in real time and providing the first line of response to security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts continuously using the SIEM platform.
• Perform initial triage, investigation and response to detected incidents.
• Escalate complex or critical cases to Level 2 teams following defined procedures.
• Execute predefined incident‑response playbooks and contribute to their improvement.
• Support the creation and optimisation of SIEM use cases and detection rules.
• Document incidents, actions taken and maintain accurate logs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cybersecurity or Blue‑Team role (N1 level or similar).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to recognise suspicious activity.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure and follow strict documentation standards.
• Team‑oriented attitude and proactive problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools, preferably FortiSIEM.
• Practical knowledge of incident‑response processes and security playbooks.
• Familiarity with creating and tuning SIEM use cases.
