Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join SAP’s infrastructure team. You will work in a fast‑paced cloud environment, helping shape SAP’s migration to the cloud and ensuring reliable, secure services for our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monitoring systems for the build landscape, identifying security and performance issues.
• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Analyze existing infrastructure and provide expertise on containerisation and migration to Kubernetes.
• Ensure systems minimise single points of failure and reduce security vulnerabilities.
• Support troubleshooting and system monitoring across datacenter, cloud and network environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with microservice architecture and cloud‑native solutions.
• Strong automation mindset with hands‑on experience in Go, Bash, Shell or Python.
• Proven experience in continuous integration, testing and deployment.
• Background working in datacenter, cloud and network environments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Containerisation & Microservices: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Source control & CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, Flux.
• Observability & Monitoring: Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
