Senior Angular Developer (French & English)

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Front‑end Engineer to join its technology consultancy team. You will work on high‑impact projects for clients in banking, insurance, automotive, aviation, telecom and energy, delivering modern web applications using Angular.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Angular applications following Clean Code principles.
• Implement robust state management and reactive patterns with RxJS.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests using Jest, Spectator, Cypress or similar tools.
• Collaborate with back‑end teams, UI/UX designers and product owners to deliver features on time.
• Manage source code with advanced Git workflows (branching, merging, rebasing).
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum B2 level).
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to high‑quality delivery.

Required skills

• Angular (latest version) and TypeScript.
• RxJS and its operators.
• Design patterns, SOLID, DRY, YAGNI.
• Angular change‑detection strategies, smart/dumb component architecture.
• Unit testing (Jest, Spectator) and end‑to‑end testing (Cypress).
• Advanced Git usage (branch management, merge, rebase).
