Sales and Operations Planning Specialist

About the role

Körber is looking for a Sales and Operations Planning specialist to manage material supply using MRP, align with the sales pipeline, and support project execution. You will ensure that material requirements are met on time while optimizing purchase orders and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the sales forecast to evaluate the impact on stock levels of long‑lead‑time components and production capacity.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management and production planning to guarantee material availability on required dates.
• Forecast common material purchase needs across projects to reduce purchase orders and improve trading gains.
• Act as a key user of the ERP system in the supply‑chain area, controlling material purchase generation by MRP.
• Promote continuous‑improvement initiatives and re‑evaluate processes and working methods.
• Validate reporting of performance indicators to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Electrotechnical or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in material planning or supply‑chain roles.
• Strong understanding of material planning and management.
• Knowledge of material master data.
• Fluent English.
