Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join Nortal as a Senior DevOps Engineer and help design, build, and improve cloud architectures and deployment pipelines for large‑scale applications. You will work fully remote, collaborating with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security across multiple cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automated deployment systems.
• Lead technical initiatives to improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product owners on architecture and system integration decisions.
• Enhance CI/CD and GitOps workflows to boost developer productivity.
• Build and manage Kubernetes‑based production environments.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews to enforce best practices.
• Write and maintain technical design documentation.
• Drive test automation and continuous process improvements.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide production support.
• Partner with teams to optimise cloud costs and infrastructure efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
