Python Backend Developer – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to design and develop backend services and APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. The role involves collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance APIs that meet business requirements.
• Develop and optimise database schemas, queries, and data models for SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Write clean, well-documented code following coding standards and design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and monitoring.
• Implement automated testing strategies and maintain comprehensive test coverage.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development with Python.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
