About the role
Join a brand‑new Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility near Porto and lead the procurement function for a fast‑growing aviation operation. You will be the primary point of contact for purchasing, supplier management and cross‑department coordination, ensuring the facility receives the right parts at the right time.
Key responsibilities
- Execute purchasing activities to secure optimal price, lead time and quality.
- Resolve purchase order queries, goods receipt issues and invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate supply requirements across engineering, production and logistics teams.
- Manage contracts, monitor supplier performance KPIs (on‑time delivery, receipt, invoicing).
- Maintain clear communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders in English.
- Provide regular status reports and feedback to management.
Required profile
- University or technical college degree in sales, economics, administration, management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in purchasing or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or aviation.
- Fluent written and spoken Portuguese and English.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive and independent work style.
