Oncology Sales Representative – Ovarian Cancer

About the role

Join AbbVie as an Oncology Sales Representative focused on ovarian cancer. You will drive brand strategy, build trusted relationships with healthcare providers, and support patient care while advancing innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pre‑call plans with SMART objectives and conduct post‑call evaluations to improve sales effectiveness.
• Address objections and guide conversations toward clear next steps that close calls.
• Anticipate customer needs and challenges to build trusted, win‑win relationships.
• Execute multichannel call plans to meet call metrics, optimize coverage, and maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Maintain deep knowledge of customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, disease state, products, and clinical data, and share insights with the field team.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition, identify disease‑state experts, and engage speakers/advocates to boost brand performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, business‑related field, or equivalent.
• Proven track record of sales success in Oncology, preferably in gynecologic or ovarian cancer.
• Experience in physician/account‑based selling, training, managed health care, or pharmaceutical marketing.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt selling approach to customer style.

Required skills

• In‑depth scientific and therapeutic knowledge of oncology and ovarian cancer.
