On-Demand Country Lead – Portugal

About the role
Glovo’s On‑Demand vertical connects partner merchants with our delivery fleet to fulfil orders placed through their own channels. As the On‑Demand Country Lead for Portugal you will own the growth of this business, combining sales, account management and operational oversight to build a sustainable logistics‑as‑a‑service offering.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Portugal market as the primary point of contact for partner merchants, driving new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
- Manage a small team of junior account managers and sales representatives, setting targets and coaching performance.
- Coordinate with the On‑Demand headquarters to align product adaptations, technical integrations and operational processes.
- Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure mutually profitable agreements.
- Monitor financial performance, pricing strategy and cost‑to‑serve to maintain profitability.
- Gather partner feedback and work with product and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, business consultancy or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to problem solving.
- Excellent project‑management abilities, highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Customer‑focused with strong commercial acumen.
- Proven accountability for end‑to‑end project delivery.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
