Monitoring and Evaluation Technician

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation Technician ensures continuous availability and optimal performance of the organization’s IT systems, networks, servers and applications. Using advanced monitoring tools, the technician detects, analyses and responds to alerts, minimizing downtime and supporting overall service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor IT infrastructure, networks, servers and applications with dedicated monitoring platforms.
• Respond to alerts and incidents in real time, performing initial troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Escalate critical incidents to the appropriate IT teams according to defined severity levels.
• Document incidents, actions taken and outcomes in the ITSM/ticketing system.
• Produce regular reports on system health, incident trends and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity and support teams to maintain service quality.
• Keep monitoring tools and system knowledge up to date and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Effective communication skills in English (French is a plus).
• Team player who can work proactively in a fast‑paced environment.
