Medical Science Liaison – Neuroscience (Parkinson)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Neuroscience – Parkinson will serve as a scientific bridge between AbbVie and key external stakeholders. Working in the field, the MSL will advance scientific knowledge, support evidence‑based care, and ensure safe and effective use of AbbVie’s products.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Tier 1, 2 and selected Tier 3 thought leaders, investigators, healthcare professionals and payers to discuss scientific data.
• Communicate information on marketed products and pipeline compounds in a strictly scientific, non‑promotional manner.
• Maintain up‑to‑date scientific expertise in Parkinson’s disease and related neuroscience areas.
• Support scientific dialogues, collaborations, and medical projects in compliance with national laws, AbbVie policies and industry codes.
• Participate in local study activities such as site selection, site initiation visits, oversight and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with internal medical teams (Medical Managers, Advisors, CRA) and cross‑functional partners including Market Access.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background in neuroscience, neurology or related life‑science discipline.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based environment while adhering to compliance standards.
• Experience interacting with key opinion leaders and conducting scientific exchanges.
