Materials & Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Materials & Supply Chain Specialist to join our Logistics team in Lisbon. The role focuses on planning, monitoring and managing material flows to ensure operational availability, control stock, optimise costs and drive continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor material requirements from business areas, aligning demand, stock levels and supply capacity.
• Analyse consumption data, purchase orders, lead times, pricing and supplier performance to identify deviations and improvement opportunities.
• Track availability of critical materials, anticipate risks of shortages or excess inventory and propose corrective actions.
• Support material planning using historical consumption, demand forecasts and lead‑time analysis.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with Procurement, Logistics Operations and suppliers.
• Monitor performance indicators such as material availability, lead‑time compliance, costs and service quality.
• Propose and implement process improvements to simplify workflows, reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Promote data‑driven continuous improvement using digital tools and automation.
• Provide responsive, solution‑oriented service to internal clients and work closely with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Industrial Management and Logistics, Engineering and Supply Chain Management or Distribution Management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and identify risks.
• Experience collaborating with procurement, logistics, operations and suppliers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
