Logistics Manager – Portugal Market

About the role

The Logistics Manager will own end‑to‑end logistics planning, execution and performance for the Portuguese market. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, factories and the Global Supply Chain, you will ensure market continuity, regulatory compliance and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate commercial forecasts into executable logistics and supply plans and lead the S&OP process.
• Ensure logistics readiness for price changes, product launches and promotional initiatives.
• Manage inventory strategies, coverage targets, ageing control and stock builds while mitigating supply risks.
• Coordinate with distributors to guarantee inbound flow execution, resolve stock discrepancies and manage operational risks.
• Maintain full accountability for logistics compliance in Portugal, including Track & Trace, tax stamps and local regulations.
• Monitor write‑offs and stock levels, driving continuous improvement for efficiency and standardisation.
• Own logistics data integrity, oversee planning in SAP IBP and validate shipment plans and inventory figures.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics planning, inventory management and cross‑functional coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and implement mitigation plans.
