UNU‑EGOV is hiring two Junior Research Consultants to support a dynamic portfolio at the intersection of digital transformation and public‑sector innovation. This entry‑level position offers early‑career professionals the chance to work on real‑world projects, develop advisory and research skills, and contribute to policy‑relevant outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews, draft research reports and perform data analysis.
• Support operational tasks such as project coordination, event planning and delivery.
• Assist consultancy and advisory assignments for governments and public institutions.
• Produce analytical outputs, communications material and contribute to knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑moving, multicultural environment.

Required profile

• Curious, reliable and motivated to grow.
• Enjoys variety and can move between research and operational work.
• Strong judgment, positive attitude and willingness to take on broader responsibilities.
• Holds a relevant master’s degree; a PhD or 1‑2 years of related experience is a plus.
