GSE & Tools Technician / Handyman

About the role

We are looking for a motivated GSE & Tools Technician / Handyman to keep our ground support equipment and tools in top condition and to support facility maintenance at our MRO site in Cascais. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, control, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all ground support equipment (GSE).
• Organise inventory, ensure tools are in good condition and readily available.
• Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance on facilities, including simple electrical work, painting, basic carpentry and minor construction.
• Assist the operations team with equipment preparation and handling.
• Coordinate with external suppliers when specialised support is required.
• Follow internal safety, quality and compliance procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, equipment replacement or improvement requests.

Required profile

• High school diploma (preferred) and ability to work full‑time on‑site.
• Proficiency in English.
• Previous experience in technical, maintenance, GSE or handyman roles.
• Ability to work independently, stay organised and solve problems.
• Team player with flexibility to support different operational areas.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (license preferred).
• Basic electrical work.
• Simple mechanical maintenance.
• DIY maintenance and repair skills.
