Full-Stack Engineer (Java & React)

About the role

Join Corkified to build the digital identity layer for premium wine. You will develop end‑to‑end features across a Spring Boot micro‑services backend, a React + Ionic mobile app, and a React back‑office platform, enabling winemakers to connect directly with consumers through NFC‑enabled bottles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Java/Spring Boot micro‑services for account management, catalog, cellar tracking, NFC authentication, gamification and more.
• Develop a cross‑platform mobile app (React, Ionic, Capacitor) with NFC scanning, AI‑driven storytelling, digital cellar, and DTC commerce.
• Build and maintain a React back‑office (MUI, Vite) for campaign management, analytics dashboards, logistics, and content editing.
• Integrate AI features such as retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, wine recommendation engines, and on‑scan AI assistants.
• Collaborate on platform infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS services, Terraform, Firebase, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building production systems with Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of micro‑service architecture, RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Passion for innovative AI applications in consumer products.
