Full Stack AI Engineer (Lisbon)

About the role

Menhir is seeking a generalist Full Stack AI Engineer to join its Lisbon headquarters. You will work on an AI‑powered revenue recovery platform serving healthcare clinics across Europe and the Americas, shaping the product from infrastructure to AI and user‑facing features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agent orchestration, conversation flows, evaluation pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Develop product interfaces, dashboards, data visualisations, and campaign management tools.
• Build patient‑facing experiences and financial infrastructure for future payment layers.
• Integrate with clinic management systems and real‑time voice/messaging APIs (e.g., Twilio, WhatsApp Business).
• Own end‑to‑end problem solving, from API design to deployment debugging.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building with large language models.
• Proven ability to ship side projects, open‑source contributions, or independent products.
• Fast learner who can work without extensive documentation or senior guidance.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and taking ownership of features.
• 0‑3 years of professional experience (more acceptable if highly motivated).
