Freelance Client Delivery & Operations Manager (Pharma Projects)

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Client Delivery & Operations Manager to own pharmaceutical client accounts and lead the delivery of multiple, fast‑moving projects. You will work remotely with a specialist UK‑based delivery partner that supports pharma and medical‑device organisations across marketing, communications, education and events.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central coordination point between clients, delivery teams, freelancers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects are delivered compliantly, on time, within budget and to a high quality standard.
• Oversee operational processes, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and nurture client relationships to uncover growth opportunities.
• Handle multiple simultaneous projects across print, digital and live‑engagement channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing pharmaceutical or healthcare communications projects.
• Strong background in both client/account management and end‑to‑end project delivery.
• Experience delivering print and digital marketing assets within regulated environments.
• Commercially minded with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote setting.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ABPI Code requirements.
• Experience with Veeva Vault workflows and approval processes.
• Project management and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
