Founding Creative Director

About the role

We are seeking a Founding Creative Director to set the visual and narrative tone for a fast‑growing company based in Portugal. This hands‑on leader will shape brand identity, guide product storytelling, and deliver high‑impact customer‑facing assets while building a small internal creative team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the creative vision across all brand touchpoints, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Develop narrative, positioning, and creative strategy for product launches and go‑to‑market campaigns.
• Personally design and ship high‑impact assets such as landing pages, launch videos, presentations, and social content during the first year.
• Create and evolve a scalable design system that supports future products and campaigns.
• Act as the final quality gate for all brand‑related output.
• Partner with the founding team to translate complex ideas into compelling stories and experiences.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a lean creative team of 2‑3 designers, motion artists, and content creators.
• Establish efficient processes that reduce reliance on external agencies.
• Champion the use of AI tools to accelerate creative workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading creative direction in‑house or within an agency, with a track record of final decision‑making.
• Exceptional creative taste and the ability to articulate a clear, distinctive point of view.
• Strong strategic thinking that links design, storytelling, and business objectives.
• Portfolio showcasing high‑quality work across digital experiences, branding, and launch assets.
