Fleet Officer (French Speaker)

About the role

Natixis in Portugal is looking for a proactive Fleet Officer who is fluent in French to manage and optimise the company’s vehicle fleet. The role combines operational oversight, data analysis, supplier coordination and driver support to ensure efficient, compliant and cost‑effective fleet performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, kilometres driven and vehicle usage using spreadsheets or fleet‑management software.
• Compile and monitor KPIs related to vehicle performance, energy efficiency and maintenance, identifying trends and issues.
• Provide vehicle selection advice, assist drivers with requests and conduct training sessions for new fleet agents.
• Validate rental invoices, manage non‑compliance issues and contribute to fleet budget planning.
• Act as the primary liaison with rental companies and service providers, handling contracts, accidents, damages and insurance matters.
• Prepare and update documentation, procedures and reports related to fleet activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet or logistics operations management.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with data and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
