Experienced Audit Staff / Senior – Lisbon or Porto

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced audit professional to join its Assurance team in Lisbon or Porto. You will work on audit engagements for leading corporations, fast‑growing companies, family‑owned businesses and start‑ups across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits of accounting and financial reporting information for clients in sectors such as automotive, public sector, consumer products, media, oil & gas, utilities and technology.
• Analyse financial statements and assess the validity of reported figures.
• Validate inventory quantities and other key balances.
• Identify risks and opportunities, providing insights to improve client processes.
• Translate complex data into client‑ready deliverables and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards.
• Build and sustain long‑term client relationships and contribute to team productivity.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Economics, Accounting, Management or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in an audit role.
• Strong accounting knowledge and analytical mindset.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to work in multicultural project environments.
