DevOps Engineer – Automation & Cloud Operations

About the role

Inetum is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to drive automation, improve release pipelines, and ensure the reliability of our production environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to embed DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation for development and release processes.
• Monitor and support production applications to guarantee high availability and performance.
• Provide system administration tasks including troubleshooting, patching, and configuration management.
• Enforce privacy and security by design throughout all services.
• Deploy modern monitoring tools to obtain a holistic view of system health.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation workflows.
• Research, prototype, and introduce new technologies to enhance DevOps processes.
• Coordinate releases with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible and Docker (or equivalent tools).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Understanding of service monitoring metrics and tools.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages like Bash or Python (a plus).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts (a plus).
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
