Data Engineer (Python + GCP + French)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong Python expertise and hands‑on experience in Google Cloud Platform to design, build and maintain scalable data platforms that enable data‑driven decision‑making. The role is based in Porto or Lisbon and operates in an international, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python‑based data pipelines on GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Design ETL/ELT processes and data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Orchestrate workflows using Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring and testing (UAT/QA).
• Apply CI/CD practices to automate deployment of data pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional data‑engineering experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within agile teams.
• French language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Passion for building reliable, cloud‑native solutions.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
