Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Portugal. The role is hybrid, with two days per week on‑site in Coimbra, Lisbon or Braga, and focuses on building reliable data pipelines on cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue) and Databricks.
• Write production‑grade Python code to process and transform large data sets.
• Collaborate with version‑control using GitHub to ensure code quality and reproducibility.
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues to guarantee data availability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher).
• Based in Portugal with EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• AWS services: S3, Lambda, Glue.
• Databricks platform.
• ETL/ELT processes.
