Business Development Specialist – Staffing & Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Specialist to expand our presence in the Portuguese staffing and recruitment market. Based in Lisbon, you will focus on acquiring new clients and building a robust pipeline of staffing opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new corporate clients across Portugal.
• Open and develop new accounts, establishing long‑term business partnerships.
• Conduct market mapping and networking to generate staffing and recruitment opportunities.
• Maintain a strong commercial pipeline through cold outreach and relationship building with decision‑makers.
• Represent the company at industry events and act as the brand ambassador in the Portuguese market.

Required profile

• Proven “hunter” mindset with a track record of new‑business acquisition in the staffing or recruitment sector.
• Existing network of contacts within Portuguese companies.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Highly motivated, proactive and comfortable with cold outreach.
