Business Development Manager

About the role

Pixie, an established IT staffing firm, is launching its operations in Portugal and seeks a Business Development Manager to build the local market from the ground up. Based in Lisbon, you will combine sales and recruitment activities to grow a portfolio of IT clients and freelance consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new IT clients across the Portuguese market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their project needs.
• Source, qualify, and follow up with freelance IT consultants.
• Drive the full sales and recruitment cycle, balancing approximately 70% business development with 30% recruitment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience building and managing a client portfolio in IT recruitment or staffing.
• Native-level Portuguese and fluent English (Spanish is a plus).
• Results‑driven mindset with a clear sales orientation.
• Enthusiastic, ambitious, and highly proactive attitude.
