Audit Specialist – Mid-Level (Hybrid, Porto)

About the role

PrimeIT is a fast‑growing technology company looking for a motivated Audit Specialist to join its finance team in Porto. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance at the office twice a week, and supports international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document audit engagements in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Assess financial statements, internal controls and risk management processes.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Audit Specialist.
• Mid‑level experience (3‑6 years) in audit or related finance roles.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Based in or willing to relocate to Porto, Portugal.

Required skills

• Knowledge of audit standards (e.g., ISA, IFRS).
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
