Application Support Engineer – Distributed Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer with a strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset to ensure the stability and performance of our critical distributed‑cloud applications. The role blends deep technical support with DevOps principles, focusing on proactive reliability, automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level technical and functional support for complex cloud applications.
• Lead incident resolution and conduct thorough root‑cause analysis.
• Develop Shell and Python scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Apply DevOps best practices to enhance system reliability and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise services using the ELK Stack and Grafana.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of monitoring, alerting and logging solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix environments and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Shell and Python scripting.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and automation.
• Proven experience with Elasticsearch (ELK Stack) and Grafana.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
