Android Mobile App Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Mobile App Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform to join our Tech Hub in Lisbon. You will design and build high‑quality mobile applications that support EnBW’s digital transformation and the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (iOS support is a plus).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and document them in the ticketing system.
• Ensure code quality, performance and reliability through unit tests, code reviews and automated testing.
• Contribute to solution design focusing on customer value, usability and maintainability.
• Work within distributed system architectures and implement offline‑capable features using local data persistence (e.g., Realm).
• Participate in agile ceremonies and DevOps‑oriented team workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, primarily Android.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform and modern mobile architecture principles.
• Experience building offline‑capable apps with local persistence.
• Familiarity with automated testing, unit testing and quality assurance processes.
• Proven ability to work in agile, DevOps‑focused teams.
• Excellent English (B2+); Portuguese is a plus.
