3DS Product Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a 3DS Product Manager to lead the European strategy, roadmap and performance of its EMV 3DS authentication solution (Identity Check). You will drive product innovation, align with regulatory requirements and ensure seamless, secure digital transaction experiences across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the European product strategy for EMV 3DS, aligned with Mastercard’s broader digital payments vision and revenue targets.
• Own multi‑year roadmaps, set network standards, and manage KPIs such as revenue growth, fraud performance and authorization approval rates.
• Lead go‑to‑market plans for new features, collaborating with global product, engineering and regional market teams.
• Develop pricing strategies to support growth and performance of authentication services.
• Serve as the European subject‑matter expert on Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), Transaction Risk Analysis (TRA) and emerging standards like eiDAS 2.0/EUDI.
• Partner with regulatory affairs, public policy, industry bodies and customers to ensure compliance with PSD3/PSR and other regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management for digital payments or authentication solutions.
• Deep understanding of European regulatory frameworks (PSD3, PSR, eiDAS, EUDI) and strong customer authentication standards.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with global product, engineering, analytics, commercialization and technical delivery teams.
• Track record of delivering revenue‑driven product roadmaps and managing performance metrics.

Required skills

• EMV 3DS authentication knowledge.
• Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) and Transaction Risk Analysis (TRA) expertise.
• Familiarity with PSD3/PSR, eiDAS 2.0 and EUDI regulatory requirements.
