Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will lead a proactive quality ecosystem across Grohe’s European supplier base. The role combines travel, cross‑functional collaboration and a high degree of autonomy to ensure stable, high‑quality deliveries to plants and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement supplier quality control processes to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies using APQP methodologies and support suppliers in building robust quality frameworks.
• Deliver training and continuous‑improvement initiatives to strengthen supplier capability.
• Conduct VDA 6.3 / VDA 6.1 process audits and monitor supplier PPM performance.
• Lead supplier qualification, onboarding and PPAP verification for new product development.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why and APDCA methods.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier or purchasing quality engineering within manufacturing.
• Background in automotive, electronics or similar industries is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (VDA 6.3, VDA 6.1, IATF 16949) and Six Sigma Green or Black Belt are advantageous.
