Legal Counsel – EMEA M&A

About the role

Join IQVIA’s high‑performing international legal team as a Legal Counsel focused on EMEA M&A. You will work on cross‑border transactions in the healthcare and life‑sciences sector, providing strategic legal support to senior leadership and driving the company’s growth agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level advice throughout the lifecycle of M&A, joint‑venture, investment, and internal reorganisation projects.
• Deliver business‑oriented legal counsel on diligence, documentation, and regulatory filings.
• Identify legal risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development and other internal stakeholders to facilitate decision‑making.
• Adapt, drive, and implement new M&A templates, standardised documentation, and process improvements.
• Support integration activities and manage external counsel efficiently.
• Lead legal‑operations initiatives, including AI‑enabled tools, template/playbook creation, and training dissemination.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B, J.D. or equivalent) with an active licence to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in M&A, corporate, or related legal practice, preferably within healthcare or technology‑enabled businesses.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on complex, cross‑border transactions.
