About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR team at a busy Marriott hotel in Lisbon. This full‑time position ensures smooth administrative processes, maintains employee records, and provides a welcoming experience for candidates and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain filing systems for personnel documents.
- Prepare and type office correspondence, distribute mail, and manage HR supplies.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist walk‑in candidates with application procedures.
- Maintain a clean, accessible application area and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Respond to employee and management inquiries about HR policies and programs.
- Inform HR management of employee‑relations issues and safeguard confidentiality of records.
- Enter and retrieve work‑related information using computer systems.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant HR or administrative experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following company policies.
