TOPFAS Instructor – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

The NATO Centre for Interoperability (NCI) Academy seeks a qualified TOPFAS Instructor to deliver theoretical and practical training on all TOPFAS applications. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Oeiras, Portugal, and runs from 6 July 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and deliver classroom, remote, online and blended training on TOPFAS tools (OPT, SAT, CAT) at the Academy or customer sites.
• Support the TOPFAS Section Head in planning iterations and ensuring business continuity.
• Assist other courses with TOPFAS‑related lessons when required.
• Set up training environments, including coordination of on‑site customer preparations.
• Create visual, audio‑visual and multimedia teaching aids, notes and hand‑outs.
• Apply Academy Quality Assurance policies and contribute to Course Control Documentation.
• Deputise for higher‑grade staff as needed.

Required profile

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Proven experience delivering training to adult learners.
• Knowledge of the NATO Operations Planning Process.
• Qualifications in one or more TOPFAS courses (e.g., SAT, OPT, CAT, System Administrator, Train‑the‑Trainer).
