About the role

Our client, a pioneering biomaterials company, is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to drive new business with fashion, footwear and other brand partners. You will be the front‑line contact, turning leads into opportunities and showcasing sustainable alternatives to traditional leather.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities with brands in fashion, footwear, accessories and related sectors.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and conduct proactive outbound outreach to prospective partners.
  • Lead customer meetings throughout the sales pipeline, from initial contact to commercial follow‑up.
  • Present the company’s materials, capabilities and value proposition to prospects.
  • Build relationships with product development, design and sustainability teams of target brands.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer to prioritize leads and refine outreach strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Coordinator for sample hand‑offs and logistics.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to generate leads.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends and product requests.
  • Maintain basic CRM updates and track sales activity.

Required profile

  • 3–7 years of B2B sales, business development or brand partnership experience.
  • Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • Experience selling to fashion, footwear, textiles, automotive or related industries is strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated and comfortable in an entrepreneurial startup environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales conversations and follow‑ups simultaneously.
  • Fluent English (C2 level).

Required skills

  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot (preferred).
