Cloud Engineer – Platform Infrastructure

About the role

Join the Bose Product Cloud Team and help maintain a mature cloud platform that powers critical experiences for millions of Bose audio products. You will work on the core infrastructure that enables internal development teams to deliver innovative home and on‑the‑go audio solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance large‑scale, mission‑critical cloud platform infrastructure.
• Design and implement platform components to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate, pilot, and adopt cutting‑edge cloud technologies and open‑source tools.
• Build and operate deployment, monitoring, and operational services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of platform resources.
• Establish best practices for observability, performance optimization, and security.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define architectural standards and platform guidelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud providers, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and software platform design principles.
• Experience designing and operating secure, high‑performance Kubernetes platforms.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP.
