DevOps Engineer – 5+ years – Hybrid in Lisbon

About the role

KCS IT is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its Lisbon hub. You will work on diverse client projects, helping them modernise their infrastructure and delivery pipelines while enjoying a hybrid work model (2 days onsite).

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple clients.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Deploy and optimise solutions on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor systems, set up observability dashboards and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve reliability and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineer.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Based in Lisbon and able to work onsite twice a week.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
• Linux system administration and scripting.
• Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
