Account Manager – Industrial & Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a driven Account Manager to grow revenue with manufacturing and industrial clients across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. The role combines technical sales of barcode, RFID and auto‑identification solutions with long‑term relationship building on the plant floor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a portfolio of manufacturing and industrial accounts.
• Build strong relationships with Plant Managers, Operations, Quality, IT/OT and Engineering leaders.
• Identify customer pain points and propose appropriate barcode/RFID, labeling, mobile computing and traceability solutions.
• Deliver value‑based presentations, proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining accurate CRM forecasts.
• Travel regularly for on‑site customer visits within the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
• 2‑4+ years of B2B technical sales experience to manufacturing or industrial clients.
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Knowledge of barcode and RFID systems.
• Experience with industrial labeling, mobile computers and shop‑floor data collection.
• Understanding of ERP, SFA, POD or WMS integration and traceability projects.
• Proficiency with CRM forecasting tools.
