Tactical Supply Planner – Supply Chain Planning

About the role

Vestas is looking for a Tactical Supply Planner to join its Supply Chain Planning team in Porto. You will be responsible for owning the tactical supply plan, balancing demand and supply, and supporting the delivery of components to construction sites across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Own the tactical supply plan horizon within the defined scope.
• Optimize the demand‑driven supply plan to enable sales while controlling cost and cash.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners on scenario planning for the tactical horizon.
• Govern plan accuracy and ensure adherence to performance targets.
• Provide input to the monthly financial rolling forecast, including production and inventory forecasts.
• Support the standardisation and digitalisation of Supply Chain Planning processes.
• Prepare supplier forecast scenarios and coordinate hand‑over between tactical and operational planning.
• Participate in cross‑functional planning meetings and create decks for S&OE decision forums.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in complex, global supply chains.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with tactical planning processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and networking abilities.
• Organised, methodical, and capable of simplifying complex challenges.
• Holistic mindset with a collaborative approach across functions.

Required skills

• Advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP, O9, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
