Social Media Specialist – French Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual French‑English Social Media Specialist to join Nestlé Business Solutions’ customer support team. Working remotely from Portugal, you will be the first point of contact for consumers, helping them through social channels and ensuring a positive brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via written channels, phone, and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Identify customer needs, guide them in using features, and introduce new campaigns.
• Maintain strong relationships with consumers and manage community interactions.
• Handle serious or sensitive complaints following Nestlé’s Consumer Complaints Handling procedures.
• Follow up to ensure issues are resolved and collect feedback.
• Update internal databases, maintain FAQ and knowledge‑base documents.
• Escalate or redirect queries to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
• Report product malfunctions, feature requests and workarounds to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken and written French and English.
• Previous experience in customer support or a similar role.
• Experience managing communities on Instagram, Facebook or other social platforms.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; knowledge of the Nestlé industry is a plus.
