Senior Regulatory Counsel – Retail Products

About the role

The Legal team at Revolut transforms complexity into clarity by partnering with product and business teams. We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Counsel to provide strategic legal advice on retail and savings products, ensuring compliance while supporting rapid growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the Retail and Savings teams.
• Provide expert advice on legal and regulatory issues for new and existing products.
• Draft and review customer‑facing legal documentation.
• Help structure and expand product features while managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications.
• Engage with European and local regulators.
• Lead initiatives while also executing day‑to‑day tasks.
• Handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong academic background and reputable law firm experience.
• Proven experience advising on European financial regulations.
• Experience with retail and savings products.
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and collaborative mindset.
• Confidence making decisions amid ambiguity.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PSD2.
• Knowledge of CRD.
